The document received March 5, 2026, from the Ephorate of Paleoanthropology - Speleology. We did our duty, everything that depended on us, for the restoration of the hagiographies of the two caves of the very important monument of St. Nicholas Kremastos, 7+ centuries after their creation. Now, we are waiting for the response of the competent Authority, which has shown very good reflexes in similar moves we made for other monuments in the past. And we are available, of course, to assist its work in every possible way. Of course, regarding this specific request, we understand that this is a major project that requires organization, planning, perhaps funding from a program, etc. Even the distance from Messolonghi, a 20-minute drive and 45-minute hike to the monument, which must be covered every working day by the team, is a difficulty that requires management.
My warmest thanks to our most venerable Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania, Mr. Damaskinos, who manages to be everywhere and to be a supporter of every positive and worthwhile effort such as this one.
